Service Team

Michael Andresen
Director of Service

Michael attended Shasta College for electronics in Northern California. Over 20 years ago a passion for electronics coupled with the desire to make a difference brought him into the medical field.  Michael started as a Service Technician for a medical equipment company that specialized in Surgery and SPD Equipment. He quickly moved up the ranks to the Service Director position. After investing in additional education he accepted a position with a Washington State company as Regional Manager. This was a more extensive position where he managed several hundred Biomedcal programs including four full service hospitals. Michael later went on to accept a position as the Facilities Director for Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington,WA. Responsibilities included managing construction projects, engineering, security, and EVS for the hospital. Concurrently, Michael owned a medical equipment service company as he continued to have customers ask him for service help.In 2016, after 3 tries, Griff and Alison were able to convince Michael to join CoMedical as their Director of Service. This has allowed CoMedical to expand the services offered and help more customers in more ways than ever before. Michael and his wife Amber live in Snohomish with there three daughters. They love the outdoors, boating, Crossfit and all types of sports.

   

John Arglen
Service Technician

John is a US Army Veteran from the 501st airborne. John enjoys spending time with his kids and sharing his passion for building and fabricating. He is a old car and rat rod enthusiast. He started in the medical industry as a service technician for Steris where he quickly advanced to a Senior Technician position. After 5 years he moved on to a third party medical service company in the Puget Sound area. For the next 15 years John provided a full range of services from general biomed to advanced repairs in the Surgical & Sterile Processing Department. In 2017 John joined the CoMedical team and has very much enjoyed the experience. From John, “ After working for several companies I have found my place at CoMedical. I love going to work every day and I could not have always said that earlier in my career.

   

Randy Baker
Service Technician

Randy was born in Walla Walla Washington in 1952. Moved to Vancouver Washington in 1967 and graduated from Hudsons Bay High School in 1971. Joined the U.S. Navy out of high school as a Hospital Corpsman, his first duty station was Naval Hospital Bremerton Washington where he met his wife Vickie. After completing Field Medical Service School, in 1974 Randy was accepted to the Naval School of Health Sciences Pharmacy Program. After working as a Pharmacy Technician for 8 years Randy entered the United States Army Biomedical basic engineering training program in 1983 and continued on in 1985 to complete the advanced course. From 1986 to 1989 Randy was stationed at the Naval Hospital Guam where he maintained 6 Naval Ships and 4 clinics medical equipment.  After completing 20 years service he retired from the Navy and moved to Southern Oregon where he has worked for several Biomedical Engineering Service companies before starting with CoMedical in 2013. Randy enjoys working with CoMedical and serving the customers. He now lives in Clatskanie Oregon with his wife of 46 years.

   

Vasiliy Burunov
Service Technician

Vasiliy graduated from Spokane Community College in 2015, with a dual degree in Biomedical Equipment Technician Service and Data Communications. Vasiliy began his young career working for Providence Sacred Heart Hospital as a Field Service Engineer and worked there for three years. He was then brought onto the CoMedical Team to provide service throughout the Eastern region of Washington and surrounding regions. Vasiliy and his wife, Evelena, live in Spokane, Washington where they get to enjoy every season fully. They love to hike the outdoors but also enjoy spending time with friends and family.

   

Robert Knight
Service Technician

Robert is a native of Washington State. He completed a two year course at Sno-Isle Tech in Everett, WA for Precision Machining and Electronics Engineering. He has always been interested in mechanical things and working with his hands, starting out with fixing motorcycles and lawn mowers, broken electronics and anything else that could be taken apart and fixed. He is a self taught programmer and enjoys working with servers and networking. After completing school he had the opportunity to join CoMedical, starting in the warehouse and helping with service calls. Later he moved into the office to do service support, and then became a field technician. Robert lives in Monroe, WA.

   

Jason Mounts
Service Technician

Jason grew up in Phoenix, AZ but has lived in the Pacific Northwest most of his life. He worked for his father from a very young age. After the birth of his daughter he worked for a constructioncompany before starting his own construction business which he ran for 10 years. Early in 2020 Jason decided to make a  change and committed himself to the medical equipment service field.  From Jason, “Comedical has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and work to make this world a better place which is very exciting. I enjoy helping people and learning new things each day in an environment full of new technology.”

   

Mike Palm
Service Technician

Living in the Pacific NW since 1995, Mike is proud of his lovely wife and 3 kids. Prior to coming to work for CoMedical in 2016 he worked in the construction industry. Mike is a quick learner and does not hesitate to jump in and help our customers. Once you get to know Mike you will understand how he can make the work fun and ensures that everyone is more than satisfied with the result.
